We currently have a relational database to keep track of our manta ray population (photographs of individual animals as well as other information such as gender, age class, pregnancy, mating scars, size measurements, satellite tag tracks, and life histories. We wish to expand the database to include other manta ray populations from Palmyra, Micronesia, Guam, Yap, and Pohnpei.

We are non-profit looking for an experience Filemaker relational database developer to give the database a professional overhaul and create a front-end to allow the dive community to add photos to the database through a we browser. We already have a filemaker hosting account.

We are looking at a very short turnaround to make it functional for a conference starting January 26, 2015 (2 weeks) and hope to bring it up to professional standards in the months that follow.

If you have a passion for the ocean and have an interest in being a part of this project, please contact Mark ([email protected]). Our company website is www.hamerinhawaii.org.

Thanks,

Mark
