  1. Hi, I am struggling : I have a script using 360Works_ScriptMaster.fmplugin functions. It used to run smoothly with FMP12 and 13. I had to update FMP and now the 360Works_ScriptMaster.fmplugin would not load. I have tried with both FMP14 and FMP15. The 360Works_ScriptMaster.fmplugin is not listed in the pref pane of FMP14/15, while — on the same machine (and the same java 8.121 version) — it is loaded. I have tried to have the file in these directories: /Application/ FMP FileMaker Pro 14 Advanced/Extensions or the ~/Library/Application Support/Filemaker/Filemaker Pro Advanced/14.0 (or 15.0)/Extensions. No success. Could someone have a clue about my problem? Many many thanks in advance.
  2. We have recently released versions 3.14 - 3.16 of MirrorSync with improvements for recovery mode, high-volume syncs, and rebuilding sync data. Overall, the reliability of MirrorSync has greatly improved, and the speed of SQL and server-to-server syncs have increased significantly! Immediately after the release of 3.14 and 3.15, we were able to identify and fix a few quirks resulting in an even more reliable version with 3.16. In 3.16, we even added a few additional features including the ability to pre-populate databases for server-to-server syncs with non-FileMaker databases, faster initial syncs, and new support for re-importing a new configuration over an existing one, which is very useful in a vertical market solution deployment. This is a free update for current users. For those new to MirrorSync, the server license is free and ships with one free configuration of FileMaker Pro or FileMaker Go syncing with FileMaker Server and one free device allowance. All additional configurations and devices are available for purchase. MirrorSync can sync between any combination of FileMaker Pro, FileMaker Go, FileMaker Server, SQL database (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or any database that supports JDBC), Salesforce, and Amazon RedShift. To download the current version, please visit the MirrorSync product page For a complete list of changes, please visit our MirrorSync changelog

  4. Does 360Works Email V1.99 does it work with FileMaker Server 15 or do we need to upgrade plugin to version 2.17 on windows server 2008 server. Hope to get reply soon. D Rai
  5. I'm just now trying the demo of the plugin. I could not Connect IMAP to Gmail: "An error occurred: [ALERT] Please log in via your web browser: https://support.google.com/mail/accounts/answer/78754 (Failure)" It seems that Gmail classifies the plugin as a "less secure app" https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6010255 because it only works when I "Allow less secure apps: ON" How can we get 360Works Email 2.17 classified as a "more secure app" so that we can buy and install the Enterprise License for our organization? "
  6. Events created directly on google calendar seems to import wrong date for "date end" field. Not sure how to fix this problem. My setup Zulu 2.1 Filemaker server 14 Mac OS 10.11.6 Many thanks in advance
  7. Hi, Probably a junior error so apologies in advance but I cannot get my clients DB to connect to their Office 365 SMTP relay. But I'm getting "authentication failed, please check authentication info" Log attached, any ideas???? Best regards and thank you, Simon 360Plugins_FMAdvanced.log UPDATE: This has now been resolved however I'm getting an error 'Exception Reading Response' ...
  8. (posted on FileMaker Community also) I have a client where we use the Base Elements plugin to transfer data to a web site. The web site developer has given us an API, and we use the BE_HTTP_PUT_DATA command for this purpose. This is used with FMS14 scheduled script. Results are MOSTLY successful. However, occasionally the script will hang. We have put a time limit on the server schedule, and it is supposed to abort if the time limit is passed. Though the abort happens, it leaves the scheduled user running, and the only way to disconnect that "hung" user is to use fmsadmin restart fmse. After much testing, it appears that somewhere there is a 600 second limit. It looks like all instances of failure occur when it takes the web site longer than 600 seconds to return a result. Most results return in 530 seconds or greater. After emailing Nick Orr at Goya about this, he mentioned the curl option CURLOPT_TIMEOUT. The base elements plugin has a command, BE_Curl_Set_Option. I have found nothing anywhere in the system that declares this. I could try to use the BE_Curl_Set_Option command. However, it seems likely that something else in the system might be setting this. Some other plugins are use by this system, including 360works Plastic 2. Any ideas on where to look for this 600 second limit?
  9. I have had 2 transactions that come back with the error "Declined: 15005" - which means the transaction is declined by the card issuer. This is a card not present, simple transaction so the only info being passed is the cardholder name, credit card number, expiration date, verification code and card type. Both customers called their banks and the transaction is being declined in one case because the address doesn't match and the other because the zip code didn't match. This makes no sense because that info is not even being passed in the transaction. Both cards that gave the 15005 error were ran via ICVerify outside of FM and they were immediately approved. Any idea why Plastic can't get them to go through?
  10. Here's what I did. I copied the Demo table, scripts, and even the layout items and pasted it all into my solution, which is called "Intakeform". I related the Demo table to my main table by creating a field called personal_ID in the Demo table, and relating that to my Personal Info table via agreement_ID. What I'm trying to do is create PDFs on webdirect. The only difference between what I'm trying to do, and the Demo database from 360Works is that I want to navigate to multiple layouts, save them all as PDFs and then append them to one PDF, and have it show up in the container field. I have that working in Filemaker Pro Adv, hosted remotely, and local to my machine. For testing purposes, I Filemaker Server running on my local machine. I am planning to move it to my hosting environment at Foxtail tomorrow. When I click the button on webdirect, nothing happens. When I click the button on Filemaker, it collects the layouts, saves them to PDF, and it shows up in the container field, without fail. I'm wondering if the problem is the port. I am going to try to hard code that, instead of getting it from the port field in the Demo table. So this is what I am attempting: hardcoding the port. Changed above IWP_Generate PDF script to hardcode port. RemoteScripterTrigger( Get(HostIPAddress) ; //We assume that FileMaker Pro client is running on the same computer as IWP, but this could also be the address of a separate processing computer 7244 ; //Selected port number. Needs to match the port number that the plugin was started on in FileMaker Pro Client "param" //It is possible to put anything here, which will be sent to the script as a script parameter ) And then I'm restart the plug-in on localhost. timothy$ fmsadmin restart wpe -y timothy$ fmsadmin restart fmse -y timothy$ netstat -a | grep 7244 tcp4 0 0 *.7244 *.* LISTEN Marthas-MacBook-Pro-2:~ timothy$ Still no luck. Webdirect first click, nothing shows up. In filemaker pro, everything works as expected: Then in webdirect, we see the attachment in the container: I need to make this work in webdirect alone.

  12. Hello there, I installed today mirror sync as a trial on a filemaker server to give it a try. After Installation and reboot of the server (basically it wasn't responding) I logged in on mirror sync and start creating a new configuration, but It gives me an error when I try to access to the database server. What am I missing?
  13. Hi there Have been using Filemaker for about 3-4 months now and have been using it to generate emails which go through to my MS Outlook 2010 client. Of course these are just plain text - so am examining the best way of sending out HTML based emails. I've downloaded the 360 Works Demo version but having not really used extensions/plug ins before - I really don't understand what I'm doing! I've installed it according to the instructions - but that's as far as I can go. I'm not sure how to call these functions, or anything else I need to set-up. Any walk-throughs/help would be greatly appreciated. Even though I have a 64 bit system, I couldn't get the Filemaker 14 (64 bit version) to work - So I'm using the 32 bit version, which works fine Mark FM Pro 14, Windows 8.1, 2 users
  14. Hi all, Installing 360's Plastic 2 plug-in for a client — one server, 8 clients on LAN only. They will be using VirutalMerchant's Converge platform for their gateway. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a card reader for regular and EMV chip cards? FMS14, FMP14 - all Mac OSX All feedback very much appreciated!
  15. We started work this morning, and all our plastic 2 processing is failing with java errors. They have been working well up to now since they were implemented over a year ago. We run a FM12 server, but all the scripts are run client side. Most clients are FM13, I run FM14 Adv. Everyone is OS X, mostly 10.9, a couple on 10.10. I don't update java unless forced to, so there haven't been any updates to that in a long while either. What is happening is when we try to either submit a new token stored card, or process an existing stored token: java.lang.RuntimeException: Could not generate DH keypair When we try to process a new card payment we get java.lang.NullPointerExceptionI've tried updating the plugin to the latest version 2.33 and also Java to the latest Version 8 update 45, but no change to the outcomes. There hasn't been any change on either the clients or server that I'm aware of.
  16. I've been using Scribe a LOT lately to automate filling out PDF forms. What I do at first is open the form in question, put in some sample data, and then run a script that finds all the field names and the values with which they're populated, so I can then develop an appropriate script to fill out that form (that's my big tip). However, what I've learned is -- man, I cannot believe how various forms name fields. My favorite thus far is a patent office form that for a patent application number names the field some boilerplate text that runs to about a paragraph (!). You don't ever see this unless you're doing something like with Scribe, but wow.
  17. I am working on a small project for a client. Today I started to get this error. What things cause this error? Everything was working fine 2 days ago. Today. It throws the error below every time I try to fetch emails. It does the same thing using the sample "email client" file that came with the plugin. java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException I do believe my laptop install some updates last night. But I don't see any that would appear to have affected java. But I can't confirm that for certain.
  18. Hi All Hopefully you can help me with a problem I am having sending mail for one of my clients. It's driving both him and me completely round the bend! We use the 360Works Mail plugin for sending bulk emails from our database, however I have one client who this doesn't work for. If I log in from my computer and send mails via his account all works fine, however when he does the same from his end, on the script step which creates the new message (EmailCreate) & sets the body (EmailSetBody), he gets the returned error: Missing local name Any idea what this means or what is the cause? I can't find a single clue from 360Works documentation, however some searching online indicates that the email address is missing the first part i.e @something.com, but this is not the case - the full email address is given as a parameter to the EmailCreate function. We're both using FM12, I'm on advanced though. Client is on a PC (XP or 7 I think) & I'm on a mac (mountain lion). Any ideas? And thank you in advance! Kind Regards Vicky Nesbitt
  19.   MirrorSync 2 now available! Featuring faster syncs, server to server, and much more!   360Works is proud to announce the release of MirrorSync 2! MirrorSync 1.5 was selected as the FileMaker Solution of the Year for 2013, and gave everyday FileMaker users the power to synchronize their FileMaker Server files with FileMaker Pro and FileMaker Go. MirrorSync 2 takes syncing to a new level with support for server-to-server synchronization, separate mobile files, field-level conflict resolution, multiple simultaneous device sync, and much more. With these new features, you’ve got the power to take your data with you anywhere, and at our new price points, it doesn’t make any sense not to.   Server-to-server sync   Now, keep all of your databases in sync, even if they aren’t in FileMaker! Avoid slow ESS shadow tables, complex nightly FTP batch scripts, or finicky ODBC drivers, and instead work with a speedy local database requiring no additional setup for the end user. Sync with any combination of two: MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, generic JDBC database, and FileMaker Server. FileMaker Server to FileMaker Server even supports container data!   Configuration is still a snap, as our signature guided process provides a drag and drop interface for mapping fields between disparate databases. Syncs can be triggered manually, or set to run on a schedule you specify. Conflicts are automatically merged at a field level, but if a field is modified in both databases, you can select pre-defined rule sets to determine which is the winner, or be notified by email when this occurs.   Mobile device syncing   MirrorSync 2 gives you complete control over the mobile sync process. You decide whether to distribute an exact copy of your server-hosted file, or design a separate file optimized for mobile devices and use MirrorSync’s simple drag and drop field mapping to match everything up. We’ve also provided detailed customization options for you to add your own record-filtering and editing logic before records are searched, updated, added, or deleted to provide you with total control.   All new conflict resolution   New conflict resolution will automatically merge users’ changes to separate fields in the same record. If there is still conflicting data, we’ve provided an all new interface to pick and choose whose information is correct, or change the information right from the conflict screen. In addition, developers can specify during configuration whether end users should resolve conflicts themselves, only by administrators, or automatically based on rule sets.   Greatly improved performance   Syncing is now lightning fast overall. Some operations, like writing changes to FileMaker Server, are 20 times faster than MirrorSync 1.5. Our testing shows write speeds of 160 records per second for FileMaker server-to-server syncs, and even faster than that for SQL databases. For large record sets, deletion scanning is potentially hundreds of times faster. We’ve tightened up the container syncs, the deletion scans, and much more to provide the fastest and best sync experience for your users. Offline file distribution couldn’t be easier: The re-written download link feature of MirrorSync lets you email your users a simple URL that downloads a highly compressed version of the database, even on iOS.   MirrorSync 2 also features...   Multiple devices syncing at the same time   True multithreaded synchronizations means that MirrorSync 2 lets multiple devices sync to the same server simultaneously. You can now support hundreds of users with offline devices.   Configure sync directions and options on a per table basis   MirrorSync 2 offers customization options on a per table basis. Sync bidirectional, one way server-to-client or client-to-server based on what table the data is in.   Better support for user-visible serial numbers   User-visible serial numbers, such as job numbers, invoice numbers, and P.O. numbers have always presented a challenge in offline synchronized solutions. MirrorSync 2 makes this extremely simple by adding a ‘write-back’ feature, which will store the serial number generated on the server back to the offline file when it is synced.   Even better setup process.   MirrorSync 1.5 had a very easy integration process, and MirrorSync 2 makes it even better. Smarter detection of primary keys and modification timestamps, automatic foreign key detection, simpler layout creation, and automatic schema generation for SQL databases make it a snap to get MirrorSync integrated into your solution.   Pricing? How does “free” sound?   We thought you’d like that. MirrorSync 2 is FREE for syncing a single FileMaker Pro or Go device with FileMaker Server. If you have a remote employee who needs fast access on their laptop, or if the boss wants instant access to the company sales reports on his iPad, you’ll pay nothing to use MirrorSync. Additional mobile device licenses range from $50-$95 depending on quantity, and server-to-server syncs cost between $500 and $1,600 depending on what type of database servers you’re syncing. By popular request, we’ve also added an unlimited device licensing option for a flat $4,000.   MirrorSync 2 is included with the 360Works Portfolio Bundle, which means that current subscribers will receive an additional 10 devices (a $600 value) in addition to the free device license. Upgrade pricing from version 1 is also available.   Download your free copy of MirrorSync now from our website:    http://360works.com/filemaker-sync
  20. Hi All, This should be a simple one ... I'm using 360Works Scribe to populate data into an Excel spreadsheet template. The solution is hosted in FM Pro Server using Instant Web Publishing. After the user has examined some dynamic data on the screen, they may download an Excel spreadsheet containing the data. To do this, I open an Excel file that serves as my template using ScriebeDocLoad. I then populate various fields into the spreadsheet using lots of ScribeDocWriteValue commands based on what the user is viewing, then save the file using the ScribeDocSaveFile function. I use SuperContainer to house the file and the FileMaker Open URL function to allow the user to download the Excel file. My problem is that the script works the first time download file is created, but fails every following attempt with an error in the ScribeDocSaveFile function. The error is "java.io.FileNotFoundExceptions: (my URL)/filename.xlsx (Permission Denied)". My suspicion is that permissions on the file do not allow the ScribeDocWriteValue function to overwrite a file that already exists. Yet the file was originally created by Scribe. If I delete the file that was created and run the script again, it works fine. Only when there is a file in place does it fail. Does the ScribeDocSaveFile function not allow an overwrite? If not, I don't see a file deletion function. I could use AppleScript to delete the file if IWP would support it. I may have to use 360Works RemoteScripter -- but I'm hoping this is something simple I can fix. Thanks.
  21. iOS Downloads, NEW Installer and More... 360Works MirrorSync, a FileMaker synchronization tool, has been updated to version 1.5. This version is a free upgrade for all current users, and includes new features and bug fixes.    We've given the MirrorSync installer a complete makeover, setting MirrorSync up as its own process. Also included in this update, our new iOS download feature makes distributing modified and new copies easy.    Download and install the update at 360works.com/mirrorsync   Download links: Get your changes to them faster than ever.   Now, you can distribute new copies of your file quickly and easily. Make modifications or layout updates? It's no problem with our new iOS features. Users are given a link that is easily accessible and downloads the latest copy of your file with all your changes. Disable the link at any time to prevent unauthorized access.   Copies of files can still be downloaded straight from MirrorSync and emailed, sent via Dropbox, or any other method.    Independent MirrorSync Installer   MirrorSync now runs in its own process, installing completely separately from the Web Publishing Engine.  This means that you can run MirrorSync where most convenient, even installed on a different computer than FileMaker Server. By having its own separate installer, MirrorSync is more stable, and reduces the load on the Web Publishing Engine.   Our new installer also comes with a lightweight admin application, allowing you to view the current installations of MirrorSync and stop, restart, and start as needed.    Hosting providers who provide MirrorSync will be pleased to know the installation process is much easier for multiple installations of MirrorSync. Hold down ALT on Windows when installing to define a new name for an instance, or select hosting provider installation in Mac. Either way, the process is now completely automated.    Full changelog   Features and Improvements in 1.5   NEW! Download links- instead of downloading a database and sending a copy of it to your users, you can generate a URL that you send to your users. Whenever they trigger this URL, it will download the most recent copy of the database from the server. Complete overhaul of the installer, which functions outside of WPE- makes both MirrorSync and the WPE more stable, and users no longer need to run MirrorSync on the same WPE machine. Now includes a native Mac Installer, certified for use with Mountain Lion and Gatekeeper. NEW! interface with easy to read icons Bug fixes and improvements, including a bug with adding new tables to the sync configuration, launching MirrorSync for the first time, and empty modification timestamps.  Download the update today, or try a free demo of MirrorSync at 360works.com.
  22. MirrorSync gets smarter with version 1.43!   360Works MirrorSync, a FileMaker synchronization tool, has been updated to version 1.43. This version is a free upgrade for all current users, and includes new features and bug fixes. MirrorSync is easier than ever to configure, understand, and sync. We've improved the user experience to guide you in simple, plain English. Warning messages throughout are more friendly and easy to understand, and MirrorSync makes sure to double check your work. If data sets have duplicate keys, invalid date or time formats, MirrorSync now finds and shows you potential problems in your solution. We think everyone should be able to sync their solutions easily, without advanced FileMaker knowledge. In addition, MirrorSync is much more memory efficient. Throughout the sync, the server will use less memory and manage available memory much better. This release includes other features and important bug fixes. See the changelog below for details. Download and install the update at http://360works.com/mirrorsync Included in MirrorSync 1.42 If you haven't upgraded to the most recent version, MirrorSync 1.42 included better support for internal and external IP addresses, as well as separate IP addresses for multiple machine deployments. MirrorSync is smart enough to detect if you're syncing inside the network or outside of it, and automatically switching to the correct address seamlessly. Internal users will experience fast speeds within the network, and switch easily when outside of it. Full changelog Features and Improvements in 1.43 More user-friendly, readable error messages throughout MirrorSync Better memory management allows for support for initial sync of very large databases to an empty clone Switched to all numeric values when communicating with client instead of formatted strings for dates, times, and timestamps. This solves a variety of international date formatting issues. Now efficiently detects duplicate primary keys in the FileMaker database and warn the user. This has been our most frequent tech support issue with MirrorSync. Various sync speed improvements MirrorSync is now about 8 megabytes smaller by re-writing some overweight 3rd party libraries Added an ability to submit bug reports from the MirrorSync configuration utility (for bugs that occur in the setup process, not during sync) Bug Fixes in 1.43 Submitting bug reports is now more reliable Re-running a sync from a device after previous sync was canceled should now be more reliable (sometimes used to get a message that sync was still running) Fixed a case where MirrorSync sometimes ran in demo mode even after a valid license key had been registered Fixed a bug during initial sync when using UUIDs, if multiple records had been modified on the server prior to initial sync. Fixed a bug where text that contained HTML escape sequences (" > <   etc.. ) was not being sent correctly. Included in MirrorSync 1.42 Now supports configuration of separate internal and external IP addresses, as well as separate IP addresses for 1, 2, and 3 machine server deployments. More reliable communication over slow/unreliable networks Fixed a case where sometimes client would not send modifications to server, if the modification timestamp field was empty (because the field was just added) Located in metro Atlanta, 360Works, a FileMaker Platinum Business Alliance member, has been providing FileMaker-based solutions for 15 years. 24. This tutorial video describes how to run credit card transactions from FileMaker Go using the 360Works Plastic plugin. The transcript is attached below, and the video can be watched on YouTube at http://www.youtube.c...bed/qrOucBq6HHg. Hi, I’m Sarah Mulligan from 360Works, and this video is going to demonstrate how to run credit cards from FileMaker Go. We’ll be using a combination of FileMaker Server, FileMaker Go, and a plugin called Plastic. Plastic is a 360Works product that allows users to run credit card transactions from FileMaker. You’ll need either the Enterprise or Portfolio License of Plastic, which allows for server side scripts. The demo version does work for this example; however, it will require a restart after 2 hours. You’ll also need an Authorize.net or PayPal merchant account for this to work. To start, we’ll load the solution file on FileMaker Server. FMS will include all our scripts, including the payment script. FileMaker Server will also be loaded with the Plastic Plugin. We will then access this file from FileMaker Go, but all the scripts and plugins will be located on FMS. We’ll let the user enter payment information remotely, and then save that information to the database as a transaction. We’ll also attach another field called Statusand set it to PENDING. The server will run a script every minute to find all transactions marked with PENDING and then process the transaction from FileMaker Server. The FileMaker Go user could then refresh his interface to see the payment was successful, or be presented with a descriptive error. Let’s take a close look at how this works in an example. We’ll be working with the solution file found with the Plastic demo download. You can find this file and a demo plugin free on our website, 360works.com/plastic. I’ve already loaded this file into FileMaker Server. On this layout, we set a number of fields. In this example, first select the gateway. Currently we support Authorize.net and PayPal. We also enter our Merchant Account and Password. You may want to set these fields yourself in a different layout, and only expose the relevant fields to an end user. The end user will enter an amount, a card number, and an expiration date in the form MMYY. We also have a field called Status, which should default to “PENDING” with a new record. I’ve done this by auto entering “PENDING” in the options for the field Status. Make sure the fields are committed in FileMaker Go. This should be all the information you collect from FileMaker Go. From FileMaker Server, let’s open our solution and take a look at the server-side script that actually processes this payment. It performs a find, looking for all status fields marked pending. It sets the processing gateway using the function CCSetGateway from the plugin Plastic. From the found set, it performs a Set field step on those transaction IDs. It uses the function CCProcesssPayment from the Plastic plugin. Set the following: CCProcessPayment( Settings::merchantAccount ; Settings::transactionKey ; Simple example::Amount ; Simple example::Card number ; Simple example::Expiration date ) Finally, we check if the CCProcessPayment returned an error, in which case we set the status to CCLastError. CCLastError will provide more information if the transaction was not successful. These errors would be descriptive and end-user friendly; for example: card declined, or loss of connection. If there were no errors, we set the Status field to SUCCESS. This makes the script that the server will run. To set the script up on FileMaker Server, we’ll create a new schedule that runs that FileMaker scripts every minute. This one minute interval will reduce the time a client will have to wait. Since this solution includes credit card information, FileMaker Server should use encryption when passing this information. To enable this, open FileMaker Server Admin Console, choose Database Server, click the security tab, and choose “Secure connections to Database Server.” Restart FMS to being using the encryption. Taking a look at this altogether again, we use FileMaker Go to enter our payment information, we mark the status as PENDING, and the FileMaker Server runs a script that looks for those PENDING transactions and runs them using Plastic. This concludes the tutorial on running credit card transactions using Plastic and FileMaker Go. 25. Hi to everyone and hope you can help a newbie out. I am fairly new to filemaker and filemaker go, but having recently got a ipad and subscribed to the free super container from 360works. I upload or drag and drop the document into the container. As FM go does not have a file system I presume I need to drag and drop the document and would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction. Regards to all
