I guess there is a lot of work on this to place on the layout every occurences of this grid repeating container field. Maybe your file can be useful to 'pinpoint' some areas. Let's say a human body or a geographical map... An image on the background, then your grid module on the top layer. By the way, and this is a sad particularity of FileMaker... Tooltips are very fast to be triggered on Windows but are slower on Mac. So your demo is working fine on Windows but on Mac, the user has to wait a bit after he click on the grid to see his red dot. On my iMac Intel, core duo, 2 GHz, the 1st tool tip takes less than a second to appear, the normal interval for tool tips; but after that they update in real time as the cursor moves.
