EAPG Posted May 31, 2007 Share Posted May 31, 2007 This is insane! Suddenly today I'm unable to open my large and indespensible database! It asks for an Account Name and a password. I'm scared now that my other databases will become locked. I even tried to open it with a previous FMP (6) and it said it was now in FMP 7 & I have to open it in that! HELP! Your surprise at this indicates that you're used to having it login automatically. This is controlled in each file's File Options. But in any case, every FM7/8 file has a default account created for it. For files created in FM7/8, it would be "Admin" with a blank password. For converted files, existing passwords would have been converted to accounts with the same password (case sensitive). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
