FileMaker Training Series for FileMaker 12: Developer Essentials

Wednesday October 2 - Friday October 4, 2013
9:00am - 4:30pm

IT Solutions offers a three-day FileMaker Training Series course for intermediate FileMaker developers who are ready to take their solutions to the next level. We have chosen a number of great lessons from the FileMaker Training Series 4 curriculum (the official training curriculum from FileMaker, Inc.) that are appropriate for developers who already have some experience but need to dig deeper into what FileMaker Pro has to offer.

We will examine all of the different kinds of fields and field options available. We will create calculation fields and use the calculation engine in other parts of the database throughout the course. We will cover all aspects of layout design and explore the many tools that FileMaker makes available for you to design a rich user interface, such as themes, guides, conditional formatting, tooltips and tab controls. We will spend time exploring new changes in the FileMaker 12 design surface.

You will be introduced to scripts and you will create summary reports that will help convert your raw data into meaningful information. We will also discuss how relational databases work, how to plan a relational database and how to translate your planning into a FileMaker solution. This class is perfect for users who need to start adding features to an existing system or developers who are relatively new to FileMaker Pro. You should already have some exposure to FileMaker, but extensive development experience is not required.

$1485 per student. Email [email protected] or call (215) 886-9338 for more information.
