  1. Thanks for your answers. I can't really make much sense of those 2 links pointing to what seems to be native java (not my league at all). The MBS documentation happens to be word for word what I am trying to achieve (Apple GSX!). Therefore, looks like this one is a winner, not to mention that it allowed me to actually understand how client certificate works in a https request. However the MBS plugin is another additional cost. Ideally i would like to get to the point where i can integrate the same logics in the ScriptMaster "Post XML Data" module using SOAP (Hey, that's the 360
  2. I am working on a project which requires me to make SOAP calls from FileMaker. I have successfully done that in the past thanks to ScriptMaster ability to handle that. It works beautifully. The new project now requires me to include a client certificate - issues by the SOAP API provider - in each requests. The documentation on their side is fairly scarce ("Install the certificate on your host" !). I have no idea how to handle that but something tells me that there is no reason why it would not be possible to "include" the certificate in the Groovy bit of the plugin... Any i
  3. I am stuck with a very painful one: I am using cwp php to access FM data from FMGo (iOS SDK 15) using 'insert from URL'. On a very erratic basis, I either get a successful call or a "Communication Error: (22) The requested URL returned error: 500 Internal Server Error" response. Credentials have been checked over and over again : they are valid The fmphp flag for the user is set No actual correlation with server load/activity. This happens either when CPU is spinning or when it's flat as brain-dead. Same for RAM I can see quite a bit of
  4. Have you tried using a custom function like this one ? Really helped me out of a pickle lately...
  5. Even though I am slowly testing FMS14, i have lately wasted a lot if time on similar matter only to discover that my problem was with plugins: either not installed/registered correctly, filesystem level permissions issues or simply unsupported with the FMS version i was using or even more frustrating, reacting unpredictably to processing exceptions depending on value of arguments passed to their functions... Your log does refer a lot to plugin and namely Draco. This is where i would start first... Get support from the author for any of the areas cited above. Hope it helps.
  6. It could be that the portion of yahoo.com you are trying to access has some 'responsive' processing which identifies your connectivity type and forwards you to some place where your request ends up in an error, even though i would not know whether javascript is actually capable of that - though it seems to be. In this case, you either need to point to a URL which you know is safe within yahoo. Otherwise, it seems that what you are trying to achieve - stock price update - is generally done through API's or registered xml feeds that can even be paid for as financial information for free comes m
  7. Have you tried with other hosts such as google.com ?
  8. So what you are saying is basically that FMGo does not seem to recognize your cellular connection as 'up' ? What about using the Get ( SystemIPAddress ) function to check whether you actually have a cellular connection ? In fact it seems you do, but FMGo can't seem to work it out... At least the result of this function will tell you if your cellular interface is recognized anyhow. Then it might just be a matter of OS level settings on your device : have you checked in Settings > Cellular > "Use Cellular Data For:" that FMgo is authorised ?
  9. Nailed it. To be more specific: the script was looping through records for uploads and was performing a Connect /Disconnect for each record. It appears that the ftp service was having a hard time coping with the intense connect/disconnect pace and thus causing a lag on an erratic basis. Solved by opening the ftp connection once, proceed with the loop of so many records and then disconnect. Important note: same was not happening with local OS X FTP service, therefore the suspect would be the target ftp service. Unfortunately I don’t know which one is used over there. Hope that helps some
  10. Ok, looks like I managed to pin it down: Error 802 does indeed relate to a file (data source) wich FMS cannot open in this case and as Wim Decorte was thinking it is a permission issue. And indeed on the ODBC data source side rather than the target import FM file. After lots of thinking i just thought about checking credentials in the OS X keychain to see that upon initial DSN setup and test, the ODBC Manager only kept credentials in the session keychain and not in the system's. Copying the keychain item across to the system keychain simply solved the issue which in the meantime caused me t
  11. Hmmm, ok... now I remember this fact. So the 802 issue still remains
  12. Ah, ah! I am now trying a much more basic test : importing a table to my file from another file on the server : works ok on FMP and getting error 100 on PSoS/Schedule. I guess those errors 100 and 802 can correlate somehow but for the life of me I can't think of one reason why that would happen....
  13. Another point for what it's worth: I use the same DSN to get data back to Oracle using Execute SQL script step. Works fine with FMP, PSoS and Schedules... Therefore issue would seem to be more around Import Records in relation with ODBC data source than DSN itself....
  14. Yes, can add an ESS table from this source in relationship graph. Made a script to add a record: works well when running from FMP. Generates no record when running PSoS from FMP or as schedule on FMS: weird thing : does not even return an error even though i did capture it in the script.
  15. Both and with equal result... Let me rephrase that : not using both in the same script but rather whether i use either i get the same result.
