  1. I just had the exact same error from 2 separate iPads. I also noticed the Java client will constantly search for Database connections with no success. java.sql.SQLException: java.sql.SQLException: Error occurred while reading XML: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException; lineNumber: 1; columnNumber: 1; Premature end of file. Nothing has changed at my end (to my knowledge) and I have done server restarts and service restarts with no resolutions. Strange!!
  2. Hi Jesse, It seems I did not get an auto response message. Maybe the bug report did not go through as I thought it did. I looked through the details from the last sync and could not find anything that pointed to an exact issue, so I completely reconfigured MirrorSync and this seemed to fix the issue. It seems to be working without any issues at the moment.
  3. Ok thanks. I am going to have to rethink the way I generate my primary keys. I appreciate your help.
  4. Sorry Jesse, Just going through that info, and I have a question. If the self contained file has all data available to it, does this mean that the file will have all of the container field files written into the actual self contained database? If this file will have all of the data stored internally, would it not work out to be the same size on the iPad?
  5. Ahhh lol, I wasn't aware that a clone was an empty database. Apologies for the confusion. I will go through the info in the link you provided and test it out. See how I go :-) Thanks
  6. Hi all, I have an issue with syncing at the moment. I keep getting and error when trying to perform an initial sync from iPad. This is a brand new error for me and I have absolutely no idea how to fix it. I already put a bug report through to 360Works but though I would try my luck here anyway.
  7. Hi Jesse, The only character in the next primary key that may be an issue is an ampersand i.e.: J&V1304EA7846D4-3B02-2248-83D4-CD768A7C5EF714/03/2014 Would that cause an issue?
  8. Hi Jesse, I mean a full clone of the database at that present time with all records, including photos that are in containers. This is why it is such a big issue. the database is far too large to be used effectively on a regular basis from the iPad running a remote database. I need a way to store the photos externally on the server, but I also need the ability to sync the photos that are taken on the iPad on site as these make up part of the inspection. does that make sense?
  9. i dont knw which field is causing the drama. It gives me a list of about 700 unique identifiers. See Below: how would I know which one is causing the issue?
  10. Hi all, I am getting an error tat I cannot seem to get past. The error string that comes up is: I have been through the text and I cannot find any issues, spaces or extraneous characters. Anyone have any ideas?
  11. Hi Jesse, I am distributing a full clone of the database to the offline users. Cheers
  12. Hi There, I have a database that my company uses for inspections. It is running very successfully, syncing data between iPads and the main database using MirrorSync. All of the initial difficulties we experienced have been fixed and for the most part, we have a very smooth solution. The problem I have now is the database size. During an inspection, we need to take photos of non compliant items. As the sites are quite large, there could be up to 700 tenancies in any one site, and in each of those tenancies, there may be anything up to 7 non compliant items. As you can imagine this makes
  13. I was wondering if this was the case!!! did the upgrade fix the issue immediately or did you need to make further modifications?
  14. Hi All, I have been trying to implement the Content Management starter solution into my database. It is currently hosted on FMS12 but all clients are running FMPA13. The problem I am having appears to only effect files on my Macbook Air when accessing the file. I get an error when dragging a PDF into the Interactive container that reads I have check and all of the PDF files I have tried to upload have the same issue, however, I have confirmed that all of these files begin with %pdf in a plain text editor. I can still open the files once they are uploaded, this issue only mani
  15. Hi Ryan, Funnily enough, I am having the same issue, except I am not using GO13. I have a PC and a Mac running FMPA13 and a file running on FMS12. I am currently working on putting a content management system into my solution but when I use some of the items from the content management starter solution, I get exactly the same error as you described. The strangest part is, I have opened the PDF files in a plain text editor, and I can confirm that they do indeed begin with %PDF- I am assuming it has something to do with not being able to read that data over a network for some reason.
