  1. 2.6 Download?

Reinstalling everything after server upgrade - have 2.406 installer but not 2.6. Where can i find that? Need to get back to square 1 before upgrading further. Scott
  2. I may need to put my FM server in the but still retain the need to sync back to an internal Oracle db behind a corp firewall. Can MS support such a configuration? If not what would be required to make it work? Thanks Scott
  3. SOS. Server hung, restarted by admin team. Now...getting these error details when I try to restart MS: Unable to launch application: java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response code: 502 for URL: http://pwnwp0565v01.gis.corp.ge.com/MirrorSync/MirrorSyncConfigClient.jnlp at sun.net.www.protocol.http.HttpURLConnection.getInputStream0(Unknown Source) at sun.net.www.protocol.http.HttpURLConnection.access$200(Unknown Source) at sun.net.www.protocol.http.HttpURLConnection$9.run(Unknown Source) at sun.net.www.protocol.http.HttpURLConnection$9.run(Unknown Source) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Unknown Source) at sun.net.www.protocol.http.HttpURLConnection.getInputStream(Unknown Source) at com.sun.deploy.net.HttpUtils.followRedirects(Unknown Source) at com.sun.deploy.net.BasicHttpRequest.doRequest(Unknown Source) at com.sun.deploy.net.BasicHttpRequest.doGetRequestEX(Unknown Source) at com.sun.deploy.cache.ResourceProviderImpl.checkUpdateAvailable(Unknown Source) at com.sun.deploy.cache.ResourceProviderImpl.isUpdateAvailable(Unknown Source) at com.sun.deploy.cache.ResourceProviderImpl.getResource(Unknown Source) at com.sun.deploy.cache.ResourceProviderImpl.getResource(Unknown Source) at com.sun.javaws.Launcher.updateFinalLaunchDesc(Unknown Source) at com.sun.javaws.Launcher.prepareToLaunch(Unknown Source) at com.sun.javaws.Launcher.prepareToLaunch(Unknown Source) at com.sun.javaws.Launcher.launch(Unknown Source) at com.sun.javaws.Main.launchApp(Unknown Source) at com.sun.javaws.Main.continueInSecureThread(Unknown Source) at com.sun.javaws.Main.access$000(Unknown Source) at com.sun.javaws.Main$1.run(Unknown Source) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)
  4. My server is reasonably secured from the internet..." The bug report could not be sent: java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect" Any other way to get this to you?
  5. Upgraded from 2.4 to 2.6 and MS has failed to sync again. It deleted all records in synced tables then it crashed my server. I restarted it but think I need to flush out records in a specific table in order to start the sync process over correctly? I don want to start MS again until I think it will complete. Large db - around 4m records, Oracle to FM Server 14. Thanks! Scott
  6. Stagger Table Syncs

Is it possible to sync, on file open, a single table, then based on some user feedback, sync the balance of the tables? I'd like to sync the remaining tables based on values selected from the first table. Thanks Scott
  7. External Data Source

aellis...did you ever get any help on this? I'm essentially in the same situation. Any insight would be appreciated. Scott
  8. My server (Windows 2012) is located behind a corporate firewall and cannot access the open internet other than through the browser. Is there a way to configure MS to use an internal SMTP server or use a proxy to access the external mail server?
  9. Is there some special procedure or step requred to commit and enable the Auto Sync in a Oracle to FM server configuration? I have the MS client open on the server, have selected Auto Sync, 60 seconds, hit Sync Now. Ran a sync in 60 seconds then no sign (from the client anyways) that the sync ever too place again. Do I have to exit the client to commit this change?
  10. To help alleviate anyone else creating flat spot on their head from desk banging... "SELECT * FROM xyz_LEVEL_0_DATA_V WHERE xyz_LEVEL_0_DATA_V.LAST_UPDATE_DATE > TO_DATE(" & $LastImport & ", 'MM/DD/YYYY')"
  11. This works fine: "SELECT * FROM xyz_LEVEL_0_DATA_V WHERE xyz_LEVEL_0_DATA_V.LAST_UPDATE_DATE >= TRUNC(SYSDATE)-1" The trick seems to properly indicate the variable in the calculated text.
  12. I have a script that collects the last update date of a set of records. I set a local variable to it ($LastImport). Set Variable $LastImport =xyz_0::MAX_LAST_UPDATE I setup a Import Records script step that goes out to an ODBC database (Oracle 10g) to bring into a temp table only those records that are >= than the last update date. "SELECT * FROM xyz_LEVEL_0_DATA_V WHERE xyz_LEVEL_0_DATA_V.LAST_UPDATE_DATE >= " & $LastImport & "" I get this error back: ODBC Error: [Oracle][ODBC][Ora] ORA-00936: missing expression I have imported data from this Oracle database many times directly into tables but this is the first time I'm trying to filter down the import to make it execute faster (over 4,000,000 records to deal with )... Any ideas? Thanks Scott
  13. Disable Tables for Debugging?

I have 11 tables I'm attempting to sync. I believe it's all configured correctly. However, three of these tables are > 800,000 records or more. I'd like to "comment out" these tables from the sync o see if the others are working ok. Can I simply removed the ES_tablename1, ES_tablename2, ES_tablename3 TOs from the graph and have it still sync up the others? Thanks Scott
  14. Example Files...updates only one way?

You are exactly correct...same issue here. I published my hosted database in Web Direct and worked the files there (add, delete). Voila.. i second the many thanks.
  15. Is it possible that the example files are configured to update only from the mobile up to the server? I can get changes I make on my mobile version to go up to the server, however any changes I make on the server vesion don't seem to come down to the mobile version. I changed the Host DataSource - allseems to run ok - it just never brings down the changes Imake to the server version. Scott
