Actually, there in lies the problem. Tried that before they were using the Windows file sharing, and were only trying to use the FileMaker's sharing. Either way, it's not working.

The file is set up in a folder on her desktop. I've shared the folder just using Windows XP sharing. She's using windows XP.

I have an enduser *deep sigh*...who has apparently built a database in FileMaker 5. She is now trying to share this database, and the network users have no problems. However, any time she tries to open it locally on her machine, it gives her an error 10048, saying that it cannot host a file... I understand this is normally a problem with FileMaker server, but she's not running it on there. Any ideas, anyone? I appreciate any response.
