  3. Hi, I have a script that maker a folder based on the product ID (always unique) and then generates several PDF certificates from a FM record. I then have a script that I can choose the folder (choose folder/set result) to combine all the PDF files inside it into 1 file. I'm looking to automate this process fully, by removing the user step of having to choose the folder. I thought it would be a reality simple process of setting the variable FolderName to the ProductID as I have for making the folder, but I'm getting -1727 errors, parameter is not an object specifier. I feel that I'm quite close to a working solution, but I'm stumbling on something. Any advice would be greatly appricatied.   4. If you like me, found that you could no longer use ctrl ↑ or ctrl ↓ to change between records because of Mission Control, then I've a simple solution. Go to Apple Menu / System preferences / Keyboard / Keyboard Shortcuts Tab Then under Mission Control, double click on Mission Control keyboard shortcut and enter a new shortcut such as Ctrl alt ↑ Repeat for Application Windows. Close System Prefs and you're done. I hope this helps. Zane, Ireland

  6. Hi, Is it possible to add conditional formatting to a drop down list? I was hoping to add a second field to my list that would show 'In Stock',then if the value contained 'In Stock' it would highlight in red. This would allow me to quickly identify the items in the list that are in stock. I have the second field with this info, but a colour change would be even better. Thanks in advance, Skip
  7. I find that if I put the mouse pointer near near the record number on the status bar and scroll it advances the records, but on the main layout it scrolls the page.

  9. I had a similar problem, and I sorted it by checking "Do not store calculation results - recalculate when needed". You'll find this under storage options... in the calculation window.
  10. Hi, I've a value list 1,2,3...9,10. In my layout the field is displayed as a checkbox with numbers 1-10 showing. As these is quite wide, I've changed the box size so I've 2 lines. The numbers are displayed down and then across, ie 1 3 5 7 9 2 4 6 8 10 Is there a setting, to change it to across then down? ie 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 I've managed to do it by changing the order in the value list, but if there is an way of changing the order, I'd love to find out. Hi, I found this attachment from Topic#181645, it has a conditional value list that selects state/province by country. ie USA -> Texas, California etc. This part I can figure out, what I want to do is add the next level. So I get a conditional value list that will only show cities in that state/province. Ie from country list, select USA -> this shows list of Texas, California, Maine, then select California -> this will only show San Fran, LA in the value list. I hope this is a bit more clear.   14. Hi, I'm looking to build a product selector database. If I choose a size, i want it to only show the product in that size. (i have this part working). When I select the product, I want to then only show the sub items related to that product, and again for the next level down. I've tried various methods to get it to work, but I'm stumped!
