  1. Hi there I have a display value list which I want to select and imports some data from other fields in the same table and populate other fields with the same fields names using a script. I have develop the script and set up the value list but can't connect the two. I'm wanting to do this because I don't want to manually replicate Data. I hope this describes my problem looking forward to hearing from you Cheers D
  2. Hi there, I have re-worked my post it may be easier to understand Hi I have setup my database for instant Web publishing. I am on a dynamic ip, but I've got around this using no-IP.com. It works really well and I have managed to access a test database over the net. However, I have got some questions about security. I have set up on my router port forwarding to the computer with the database, I have open port 80. Should I have any security issues when I open this port? Can I set up a secure connection to this database? I don't particularly want to set up selected IP addresses for clients as this could be difficult, as some of them are on dynamic IPs as well. Can I set up an SSL connection? With no-IP.com you are set up with a domain name which you can point to your dynamic IP, which is very good. If I have the port forwarding setup but the server is not running, should I have any security problems there? So if a client logs on to my database and they're not on a secure connection, their login password would be sent in the clear? If someone could sniff the traffic on this connection, would they be able to see what is happening?
