  1. Yes, I finally figured it out. "cmd /c wget -O " & Quote("f:" & "FolderOne" & "" & "FolderTwo" & "" & databaseURLdl::imageNumber & ".jpg") & " " & Quote ( databaseURLdl::PhotoURL)
  2. Useful wget examples: 15 ways to use wget
  3. How do I rename a downloaded jpg using wget. For example: wget "http://website/library/abc.jpg" downioads the file abc.jpg to the users downloads folder. I want to use a field in the record to rename the downloaded file.
  4. Thanks for your replies. No global fields Using XP FMP 8.5 Only 4 users out of 30 are affected. Repeated re-installs has helped but a day later the problem returns. When created a simple local file with 2 text fields I could not select the fields or labels in layout mode
  5. I have had the following happen on 3 different computers (30 users total) The objects on the layout disappear (boxes, buttons, logos). The data is visible and pull-downs etc. work. We have re-installed the client (FM 8.5) on each computer. Have restarted the hosted databases on FM server. Still no success. Would this be corrupt hosted files?
  6. I have a calculation the result of which is a container. The calculation checks for the system platform. Case ( Get ( SystemPlatform ) = -1; "imagemac:/Images/FolderBW/ & ImageName ".jpg"; "imagewin:/F:/FolderBW/ & ImageName ".jpg";) I now need to test for another condition: if the image is Black and White or Colour. Case ( ColourSign ≠ "Colour"; "imagemac:/Images/FolderBW/ & ImageName ".jpg"; "imagemac:/Images/FolderColour/ & ImageName ".jpg";) How would I combine these calculations so that I check for the system platform and the ColourSi
  7. How do I keep all data related to a certain date in a report together. For instance, if all the data for a certain date will not fit on one page then move it to the next page. See attached pdf. ImageReport2.pdf
  8. Ok, I believe I have solved it with the following Calc. in the WithinSameMonth field.: Case ( Day ( gBaseDate ) ≤ 15 and Day ( ShowDate ) ≤ 15 and Month ( gBaseDate ) = Month ( ShowDate ) ; RecordID; Day ( gBaseDate ) > 15 and Day ( ShowDate ) > 15 and Month ( gBaseDate ) = Month ( ShowDate ); RecordID; "" )
  10. Even on the layout it does not work correctly. TestTimeSheet.fp7.zip
  11. I had attached the wrong file.
  12. Thanks and apologies to Soren. Interesting idea using two portals. Just out of curiosity can any let me know why the calculation in my previous post (#315136) does not work.
  13. I have been trying to modify the sample file in the link provided by aldipalo. Here's what I am trying to get: If you select a date in the browser and it's before and including the 15 of the month then only show those dates. Conversely if you you select a date in the browser and it's after the 15 of the month then only show those dates in the browser. The calculation I used in the WithinTheSameMonth field is: Case ( Month ( gBaseDate ) = Month ( ShowDate ) and RecordID ≥ 15; RecordID ; Month ( gBaseDate ) = Month ( ShowDate ) and RecordID ≤ 15; RecordID ) But it d
  14. In your example file how would I modify the Calc Field "WithinSameMonth" so that it only shows the first 15 days or days after the 15. For example (1-15) or (16 to end of month) depending on date selected. I tried this, but I must have done something wrong as it does not seem to work. Case ( RecordID ≥ 15 and Month ( gBaseDate ) = Month ( ShownDate ); RecordID; RecordID ≤ 15 and Month ( gBaseDate ) = Month ( ShownDate ); RecordID; "" )
