  1. I am trying to write a script to edit a current record. I have information in the header that will not change. In the body I have a notes field that I want to be able to press a button to add a new note and you will see the information still in the header. It also would need IWP capability. at present IWP has the edit current record function in the side bar. But I will have users of the database that has no knowledge of filemaker so I'm trying to simplify. Can any one help?
  2. I am trying to create a portal on the AI Advisors Note layout, but the data is not show. Can someone help me figure out what I have done wrong. AI_Tracking.zip
  3. I am trying to layout that would display information from selected record only. Is there a way to do this if the records information is not related?
  4. I am using Filemaker sever advanced 9 to host files. Up to today clients could access the files online thorugh instant web publishing. Now they are are unable to connect to them. I am able to view files on host computer through IWP but cannot connect on another computer. What I missing?

  6. Thank you. I realized I tried to enter find and perform find on the same layout and that's why it wasn't working.
  7. I am trying to create a perform find script where a person can perform a search based on one or two criteria. I am having issues cause either it finds everything or it replaces data with in my records. How can I fix this?
  8. All of my files are showing up in my IWP file directory with the exception of one. I am able to access by remote, but I can not get it to show online. Can you tell me what may be causeing this since I see all other files.
  9. I think this will be my last question regarding this topic. I used the example from the college2 zip. This works for one portion of my report. I am now trying to make and average calculation based on the count. I tried doing the calculation similar to college2 zip but that does't work.

  11. The data I'm working with is Student ID, value list "College Level" on the Student table.
  12. This was helpful, but I want to see all four catagory totals on the same layout without having to scroll or find the next total. Is this possible?
