  1. Hi, Could do with some advice please, i am just playing with the cloud mail plugin, i am trying to install the plugin on the server. I have copied both the FMX and FMX64 files to the following location, but it doesn't seem to register the plugin when I open the provided database, instead it asks me to install the plugin locally. C:\Program Files\FileMaker\FileMaker Server\Database Server\Extensions Is this the correct location ? Thanks.

Hello, When you Send a link with CloudMail, Amazon change the link with is own link but when you click on it, the redirection link is encoded... in Html Some of our partners don't use such html link because this page is in utf8. An another exemple if you encode webDirect link there is nothing after the # .... http://www.MyDomain.com/fmi/webd#MyFile it's not very useful for our partners.. How can we keep the full link. Regards..
  4. Hi, I'm using CloudMail Enterprise. In a testing environment is all working great, but when I try to send it to my 40000 contacts I receive this error: com.prosc.aws.exception.AWSRuntimeException: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-16"?> <ErrorResponse xmlns="http://queue.amazonaws.com/doc/2012-11-05/"><Error><Type>Sender</Type><Code>InvalidMessageContents</Code><Message>Invalid binary character '#x1F' was found in the message body, the set of allowed characters is #x9 | #xA | #xD | [#x20-#xD7FF] | [#xE000-#xFFFD] | [#x10000-#x10FFFF].</Message><Detail/></Error><RequestId>2bbc5f16-0b65-59c9-840c-0fb05286f17f</RequestId></ErrorResponse> I'm sending it to 40000 customers. After 9200 sent mails, I received this error. I need to send it asap. can you help me with this issue? Thanks, Tommaso
  5. Hi everyone, I'm evaluating Cludmail, I've set up an AWS account and it's all working fine except for unsubscribe. For testing purpose I've follewed the unsubscribe link and filled the form to unsubscribe an email address. Now if I try to send a campaign to this email adress I don't receive any error massage and the mail is not delivered. If I remove the email address from AWS SES Suppression list the issue persist, while all the other emails works fine. Can you help me? Thanks in advance, regards
  6. OK - we now have a working CloudMail solution that sends any number of emails with attachments (as URL links). I have two minor issues with it: 1/ Any images that we use on the HTML email (which are uploaded as attachment files, but not specific to each 'campaign') if we use as HREF links, don't work. If I check the message source the URL is there but it is prefixed and suffixed with a pile of coding which messes up the link. e.g. <a href=3D=E2=80=9Dhttp://momentumski.com/=E2=80=9D>. Any ideas what the E2=80=9D is all about? 2/ The attachment link, which is automatically uploaded prior to send the email opens in web browser. I would like to force this to download which I can do by changing the PDF file metadata to Content-Disposition:attachment on the AWS S3 file storage. I know that it is possible to assign this during the upload to the AWS server, but I don't know if the 360works CloudMail plug-in can manage it. Any ideas? Many thanks - almost there ....   7. Hello, I'm using CloudMail 2.04. In CMQueueMessage function I'm able to set a "from address" but not a "sender name". I'm trying to send a newsletter from "My Name (my email)", not only from "my email", is it possible? Thanks
  8. Hi Guys, I've been using CloudMail for a couple of years now to send marketing campaigns for my company. Just recently I have moved to remote hosting with AWS and now my server is offsite I have noticed some performance issues with cloudmail and a few other areas of my solution. To address these issues I have started using server-side scripts to perform labour intensive tasks such as creating bulk records (20,000) at one time. This has resulted in excellent performance once again. The problem I can't seem to fix is sending my email campaigns using server-side scripts. I have confirmed the plugin is installed etc on the server and with quite a bit of trial and error, I am still unable to send the campaigns. Does anyone have a sample script they use, or any advise how I can get this working? I appreciate any help and thanks in advance Regards, Jason
  9. I am trying to test Cloudmail once again after having endlessly been given the run around by AWS. I am finally up and running with AWS but now when I try an open Cloudmail, I get an endless spinning ball and "Filemaker not responding". On another copy of Cloudmail that does open, I have tried inserting into the settings the data that came from AWS named "credentials.csv". I put "Smtp Username" into the field "Amazon Access key" (I discovered that "Smtp Username" and "Amazon Access key" are identical according to my IAM user data), and I put "Smtp Password" into the field "Amazon secret key". When I click on "Test" I get message below. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?
  10. Hi, The first time i have create an SES in US East... But now SES is available in Europe, I have create and reconfigurate a SES in Europe But CloudMail only work in Us East... What can i do to use my Europe configuration ? Thank's Marc
  11. In CloudMail, we have the ability to add or remove specified addresses from a blacklist. This is great, but there's no way to see if a given address is on the blacklist before we try to add or remove it. My client's would like to be able to see which of their clients are on the blacklist for sending. Is this possible somehow?
  12. The Cloudmail file is sending out test emails. When the results are called: Deliveries show OK - sent four emails - and one where the recip had unsubscribed. 3 were delivered and the unsubscribed wasn't delivered. Views not showing - I opened one of the emails and clicked on a link. No views showed up. Clicks don't show - clicked on a link in the 'viewed' email but no clicked showed up in the results. UNSCRIBE works The outbound email was a plain text message. No HTML. What am I doing wrong?
  13. Hi, We're just starting with CloudMail and while we have an existing AWS account in place, we're new to Amazon's SES. We've already been approved for static IPs and increased rate, but Amazon Support is recommending that we have two static IPs ... not just one. Does CloudMail support this? If yes, then is it a good idea to have the multiple static IPs? Thanks! Neil
  14. I just upgraded server from FM 15 Server to FM16 Server. CloudMail plugin (ver 2.04) was reinstalled, but mail is now not being sent (or at least not received). I did not change the scripts or file, it was just a server upgrade. In fact the scripts appears to run and act like it is working (no error and I can confirm it is connecting to AWS), but emails just don't show up. I know it is older version, but is Ver 2.04 compatible with FM 16 Server? Really at a lose of what else to check.... any ideas?
  15. Is it possible to put the unsubscribe link in CloudMail in a button? Or, put the whole thing into a 'a href' tag rather than showing the full link? thanks for the help! Martie
  16. I've been using CloudMail very happily for some months now. Creating and sending lovely emails to targeted lists. But, just recently when I use the Get Results button, I get "0 delivered, 0 bounced, 0 complaints" altho' there will be tons of views and lots of clicks -- so obviously the emails ARE being delivered and altho' I may not be getting complaints, I am sure there must be at least some bounces. Has a setting changed that I don't know about? What would cause this and how can I fix it? I am using CloudMail version 1.02 on Win 10 (with new update - but this started before the new update) FMP11. Thanks in advance for the help, Martie
