  1. Is it possible to form a live connection between two filemaker databases We have the following set up: Firstly all filemaker software is filemaker 9. A filemaker database on a mac host machine using filemaker server advanced A local network of clients in the same location A database sitting on remote windows machine Is it possible to form a live connection between the database on the mac server and the database on the remote windows so any changes on the client machines in the local network are automatically saved to the database on the remote machine. Please note the database on the windows machine must be open at all times.  There is a working ODBC connection between the windows machine and the host server machine, which is tested and working, so no issues with firewalls etc.   We can do sql queries to update the remote machine but is it possible to form a permanent live connection and what would be the steps  to do this  I attach a small diagram of the network configuration which hopefully makes it a bit clearer Â
  2. I am relatively new to Filemaker so please help. I have a Filmaker solution that imports data regularly from various SQL sources. At certain times I require to delete all imported data in the Filemaker solution and then re-import. The Filemaker solution is hosted on an FM Server and contains no forms, only tables (These tables are accessed via various other FM solutions). The import is handled via ODBC and is scheduled using the schedule function on the server. All this works fine. When I require to delete the imported data, I use the 'Delete All Records' function in the script proceeded with the 'Perform Find' function as follows: Perform Find [Restore] Delete All Records [No Dialog] When I execute the script, I get the following message: 'This operation could not be completed because the target is not part of a related table.' The correct table is selected in the Perform Find criteria but there are no forms (Layouts ) in the solution. Has anyone got any ideas please. Regards

Olivier Aubert _____________ (google trad) FM Server 13 and Plugin incompatible Email I try for one week to run the plugin Email with FM Server 13 (OSX Mavericks plugin 2.03). The plugin requires Java 1.6. I first installed FM Pro (not server) for testing, installing Java 1.6 is automatic. The plugin works. But the installation (and starting) of FM Server is only possible if we install Java 1.7. This replaces version 1.6 and the plugin no longer works. Do you have a solution, thank you ... (sorry for my poor english)
