213 downloadsIndats Icon Manager is an SVG Icon viewer and manager, that makes it easy to view, edit, and export SVG's that play nice with Filemaker 14 buttons, and button bars. The tool is free to use, and all icons are provided royalty free by Metro Studio's Syncfusion. There are about 4,000 icons, and 26 different categories. That should be more icons than anyone could ever want! For more information you can check out my blog post here: http://www.indats.com/2015/06/15/indats-icon-manager/ File Requires Filemaker Pro 14
Folks we all know how useful the "unread" badge icon on your telephone can be, I'd like to try and implement something like this into my FM SP database. I've a filter on the invoice list view that allows me to see any orders that need invoicing to the customer. The search criteria is: OMIT = invoice posted = "1" FIND = Quantity Remaining = "0" I've tried to make a button on a button bar in the preferences layout using the same process as the tab formatting, namely: Let ( [ number = Count ( T14m_preferences_INVOICES||id_constant::ID_Invoice ) ; label = If ( number = 1 ; "Inv" ; "Invs" ) ; findmode = "Invs" ; size = 22 ; color = RGB ( 154 ; 154 ; 154 ) ; // Grey sizedNumber = TextSize ( number ; size ) ; styledNumber = TextStyleAdd ( sizedNumber ; Plain ) ; coloredLabel = TextColor ( label ; color ) ] ; If ( Get ( WindowMode ) = 1 ; findmode ; styledNumber & " " & TextSize ( coloredLabel ; 13 ) ) ) I've associated the T14m table with the preferences using ID constants, so: ID_Constant_Zero ("0") = quantity_remaining_total ID_Constant ("1") NOT= Invoice_Posted So far, the button just shows "INV ?" Feel like that link between the two tables isn't right. Anyhow, is there a better way to do this, say with pretty numbers like iOS has on it's icons? Thanks in advance.

I have a client system which includes the collection of proof of delivery signatures using iPhones. The system is hosted on a server. The client has a mixture of Macs, XP and now Windows 7 users. The signatures are copied from the iPhone sub system into the main database using a server side script on a regular schedule. The signatures are visible on macs using the system, and were also visible on PC's using XP, but since the client upgraded to Windows 7 the signatures show the icons of the signature file only on the upgraded PCs. Is there something I can do about this? I have tried changing the default viewer for .png files in Windows to other applications (e.g. Quicktime. This changes the icon visible in the container field to a quicktime icon but doesn't render the image.)
I'm creating a script where I login with SFTP into an Asterisk/LInux PC to download voice files and voice mails and import them into a FileMaker solution. Use the FTPeek plugin. Login goes fine, collect filepath from the cdr table, download file with SetField and FTPeek_DownloadFileToContainer( filepath ) Everything works fine, accept instead of an interactive container, I get only the icon. When I drag the file out and in the container again, everything works fine. I can't think of anything I did wrong but can't solve this issue and yes I set the container field to "interactive container" in the Instpector/Data/Data formatting :-) I did read the documentation and searched the forum, saw one other posting on this issue, but no solution. Thanks for your effort! Ron
Hey everyone, I love how open the Filemaker Community is, and how much is shared freely, so I wanted to contribute. I created a database to manage SVG icons. The icons are all royalty free provided by Syncfusion and there are about 4,000 icons, all with search tags to make finding them super easy. You can find out more about the file, and download it here: http://www.indats.com/2015/06/15/indats-icon-manager/ Please let me know any feedback you have on the file, thanks!
