  1. Hi, I have a problem with my plug-in ... i have this "ERROR" when i use https RunShellScript( "curl 'https://www.apple.com" ; "true" ; "0" ) FYI : It worked very well last week Process: FileMaker Pro [14467] Path: /Applications/FileMaker Pro 15 Advanced/FileMaker Pro Advanced.app/Contents/MacOS/FileMaker Pro Identifier: FileMaker Pro Version: 15.0.3 (15.0.3) Code Type: X86-64 (Native) Parent Process: FileMaker Pro [5615] Responsible: FileMaker Pro [14467] User ID:
Olivier Aubert _____________ (google trad) FM Server 13 and Plugin
  3. Hi, I'm having a new FTPeek error using FileMaker 13 that I did not have when we were using FMP 11 last week. Some random pdf and xlsx file uploads are returning an error even though they appear to upload correctly. I then get a Time Out Error in response. This is not happening for jpg files. All I can figure is it might be a larger file issue? Regardless, is there a known reason for this or a recommended troubleshooting process? We've upgrade to OSX 10.10 and FileMaker Pro 13 in the past week, running off FileMaker Server 13. The FileMaker Server 13 machine is running on OSX 10.8.5, should I
  4. Hello, I need to open existing PDF(s) that are located on a windows server from a layout. I'm able to open the files manually from the volume disk on my desktop without any issues.. I have a button with the following script: Open URL: Table1::FIELD1 Breakdown: Sample PDF name: 5554B.pdf Field1 contains path and filename: smb://SERVERNAME/pdf/5554B.pdf (calculated field: "smb://SERVERNAME/pdf/" & Table1::FIELD1 & FIELD2 & FIELD3 & ".PDF" ) Field2 contains numeric portion of PDF name. Field3 contains letter in PDF
  5. Our main database is a 4D database, but we use Filemaker to handle a number of "helper" applications. In order to access the data in our 4D system, we've installed ODBC Manager on a few of our workstations, and installed the 4D v13 driver from 4D's website. In general, this all seems to be working well. However, as we've begun doing more with this integration, I've run into an issue that as part of the import, the OS is asking for an administrator's name and password to allow Filemaker to make changes. The main user account I use when developing is an Admin account, so I've never

  7. Morning, Ive had this issue, along with others, for a few days now just after transferring our web server over to a new server. The Error now im getting is: com.prosc.security.LoginFailedException: Could not authenticate to Google with token The Current configuration is: Dual Mountain Lion servers. Both running 10.8.4. One master (database server) and the other the WPE and web server Zulu running on the slave version 1.3403 Now the account details are correct I have double checked multiple times, I have also tried with another google account. I have per
  8. Hello, I'm trying to figure something out, but can't find anything on it. It seems like a simple idea, but I'll let the experts decide that one. I have over 1500 records in a database with three relevant fields TOPIC LEVEL WORD All the records are image files in a folder tree on my mac. I'd like to export "topic" and "level" and make it the spotlight comment on each of the files, but have no idea how to do it. I assume it would include applescript, but if someone has already done this, I would really appreciate any help. Thanks!
  9. Hi folks, I've got a script, the majority of which is running fine. The only issue now is the PDF creation - here's what happens. A PDF is created, and opens fine. It gets sent out to a client, and only some clients can open it - others are unable to. However, if you use the 'Save PDF' option from a print dialogue box (as opposed to the Save PDF script step), the PDFs can be read fine. I've had a quick look at the files using Linux/OSX's 'file' command. Here's what i've found: 1.3 - saved from print dialogue 1.4 - saved as v5+ 1.5 - saved as v6+ 1.6 - saved as
  10. Hey folks, I've got a script set up which is generating a PDF of an invoice using a particular layout. It generates itself fine, and i've not specified an output file so that the user is asked where to save the file, and what to name it. This is also working brilliantly, with one exception; the generated file doesn't have '.pdf' as an extension. This isn't an issue on OSX (because OSX looks at the file to determine what to use to open it), but on Windows machines, these PDFs aren't readable because Windows still handles filetypes stupidly. I don't really want to force users t
  11. Hi I'm running FileMaker Server 11 on OS X. I have a Windows app that updates one of the files via ODBC. If this app dies or loses network connectivity etc., the connection still shows up in the FMS Admin Console. Restarting the app just causes another connection to show up in the Admin Console. It does not appear to be possible to get rid of these phantom connections. The same happens if I write a Python script that connects to the file via ODBC. When the script exits, a connection still shows up in the Admin Console. Is there anything I can do about this? Th
