Hello, I currently have a FileMaker application that I can log into, however I'm not able to log in with "Full Access" to the primary portion of the application. (The default database that is loaded, I have Full Access to a couple of the child databases that get proc'd by the default one, but I need to make account and application changes to the main one.) Is there any way to force a password reset on a known "Full Access" account or create a new one altogether? Thanks
I'm trying to get the data out of a database to which I do not have the password to access Full Privileges (it was installed nearly a decade ago and has since been lost). "Export", "Print", "Save Copy", and the "View As" options are inaccessible, among others. Short of copying and pasting the data line by line (there doesn't seem to be a way to "select all") I don't currently see a way of getting the data out. Â Does anyone know alternative ways of exporting data in Filemaker or being able to bypass/reset the password? I'm using Filemaker 6.0v4. Any help would be appreciated!
Hello, I would like to restrict access for a specific user group to records based on a specific value in a field. For example, the field is called Category in the database table Catalogue, and the value is Canadian and is part of a value list. I've gotten to the step of a limited records access which brings me to a boolean condition screen. I'm not sure how to write the Boolean condition. Any suggestions? Thanks!
I have a user out in the field who does not have permission to delete records in certain tables to avoid accidents (customers, equipment, etc.). When a power user in the office deletes a customer record from the hosted solution, MirrorSync tries to delete the record on the local database but throws an error because of the user permissions. Is there a best practice work around so that MirrorSync can delete records but the priv set for the field users can still be set to not allow deletions?
