Newbies KylieF Posted July 30, 2020 Newbies Share Posted July 30, 2020 comment, Do you have a newer version of your DershowitzNew.zip file that you are using now or are you still using the same thing? I have also been given a task of creating a database to manage my boss's synagogue's member database and he mentioned a challenge with Hebrew dates and calculating yahrzeits. Is your solution still the best thing available or do you recommend something else?
comment
Haven't looked at it for quite a while but I believe it's still solid. These days you also have the option of using an API.
Newbies KylieF Posted July 30, 2020 Newbies Share Posted July 30, 2020 Not sure what I could do here with an API but I had a look at your calculated field and it looks amazing. I remember reading in the earlier comments of 2005 that there might be a problem in 14 years time - did that problem get programmed out in the end? Is it likely there is a problem now? My implementation will also run out eventually - but that will happen after the year 4000, which is the highest year Filemaker can handle.
