Making highlights invisible

Featured Replies

Hi! I know this is a little anal, but it really makes my data entry interface UGLY, so here goes.

I made this lovely little data entry form, with fields scattered all across it, many of these fields are the same color as the backrgound so that they are invisible if they don't have data. However, if I start entering data in a field, all these semi-transparent highlight borders appear around random fields across the layout, usually every field at once. Is there any way to stop this?

If you format any field which does not need to be altered to "not allow entry into fields", this grey outline will not appear for them. Other than that, I don't know an easy workaround to this one.
