We upgraded to a new server with Filemaker 17. Transferred the database over, but naturally the images in the fields did not come over. Is there a protocol for moving databases that have container fields? A link would be appreciated.

Does one embed the images into the database and then transfer the entire thing? Or move the files into their new home on the new server and then point Filemaker to the proper directory?
