Karstyn Posted October 8, 2018 Share Posted October 8, 2018 I get this error when trying to get the text out of a PDF: ExceptionConverter: java.io.IOException: '>' not expected at file pointer 5438 Any ideas what the issue is? Unfortunately this PDF comes from a major back so I have no control over how it is generated, but do need to pull data out of it - if at all possible. I've run tests on a dozen of my own PDFs that work fine. However, several sample PDFs from this user fail. In all cases, his PDFs are scanned images that have been OCRed.
