michele Posted July 10, 2002 Posted July 10, 2002 I'd like to remove all fields that aren't used in a database I got. Is there a way to find out -myself, without any help of analyzing programs- which fields aren't refered to (or are) in the scripts? Thankyou for reading and eventually answering my question. Mich
harryk Posted July 10, 2002 Posted July 10, 2002 Filemaker itself cannot. Don't know wether the Developer can do it, or if there are plug-ins solving this. But there is a workaround. if you have a PDF generator, print all the scripts to PDF (one file). You can do that with your fields too. Then use the FIND function searching for the field names..you can do that for lay-out names too. Harryk
BobWeaver Posted July 10, 2002 Posted July 10, 2002 You can also do this with the "print to file" option in the laserwriter driver.
