Pop-up lists?? Where? HELP! (My first post)

Hello folks.

I've been using FMP for over a year now, and have recently started using FMP 5.5. When I have a field that is definded by a value list, I don't get any pop up menu when i want to enter data!

My questions are this: where did it go? Is it something obvious that I'm missing, or does it have to do with the newer version?

It's just getting really hard (and tedious!) to enter the EXACT value without being able to select it from a pop-up menu.

Maybe a bit too obvious, but did you make sure the field formatting (in layout mode) is set up to use a Value List too? FMP 5.5 works just like previous versions in this regard.

not too obvious at all. that's what the issue was (duh). I now feel very embarassed, it was so simple. blush.gif
