The Jazz Utils plugin (Mac and Win) contains a miscellaneous set of functions, such as

• Clipboard functions (get/set)
  
• Mouse position functions (real time, or capture a click)
  
• Add tags to formatted text (Mac only)
  
• Bring another application to the foreground (Win only -- mac can use AppleScript)
  
• Script debugging functions (Mac only)

There are also some shareware plugins for the more serious scripter, which allow implementing a 'Go Back' stack, Saving global parameters to share information across databases, and passing parameters between scripts, and using local variables.
