the walker Posted August 12, 2002 Posted August 12, 2002 i have a script in filemaker that prints off records. to start with i wanted it print one rec at a time (current record), but now i want it print all browsed records. no matter what i do with the page setup script it always seems to automatically revert back to print current record which is very frustrating and i cant get it to stay on browsed record please help
BobWeaver Posted August 12, 2002 Posted August 12, 2002 Do the print setup the way you want and then do a manual print without using the script. Then open up the script editor and save the new print setup.
RussBaker Posted August 14, 2002 Posted August 14, 2002 I always include the following scripts in my files: Print Current Record Portrait Print Browsed Records Portrait Print Current Record Landscape Print Broswed Records Landscape Once you have done this once, you can just import these scripts into any new file you create. It also means that whenever you need to change anything, worst case is that you only have to change 4 scripts.
Jack Posted August 14, 2002 Posted August 14, 2002 Is this possible in Windows ? Can you give me the steps for for one of those scripts? Thanks. Jack
Jack Posted August 15, 2002 Posted August 15, 2002 Russ: It took me a day, but I finally figured out what you meant by having 4 scripts for each of the possible printing options. jack
