Hello,

Windows has issues natively displaying .HEIC images so I'm looking for the best method of allowing clients to upload images (may be from a file storage app such as Box) to my application (hosted on FMCLOUD) while behind the scenes converting or otherwise handling the images to enable cross platform viewing. I prefer not to use plug-ins or to require users to change their systems or practices (ie setting IOS devices to avoid HEIC). Any ideas?

Filemaker cannot natively convert an image from one format to another. You must use some third-party software, so handling this without a plugin will be difficult. Especially if you don't have control of the server.

AFAIK (which is very little) Windows users can view HEIC images if they install some system extension.
