How do I initialize global dates for find

Hello All,

I have a find script where I am using global fields to simulate a find in browse mode(do not want users in find mode). I am using the insert calculated result function to find a range of dates. Which is only one set of fields to be used as find criteria. The problem comes when I try to initialize them. I have tried "" or TextToDate("") but these generate invalid find errors

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
