finding in more then one field?

Have five fields

field 1:, field 2:, field 3:, field 4:, field 5:

Can I create a field 6, to search on all 5 records? would this be a calc or script?

Create another field, a calc field:

field 1 & "P" & field 2 & "P" & field 3 & "P"... ect.

The "P" is a paragraph return.

Then either do a find on the calc field

or

Create a global field 6 and a realtionship between the new calc field and global field 6 that will return the reuslts ina portal without going into find mode.

the altter is my preference because it never has to go into the dreaded Find Mode.
