Graphite lined background; how?

Featured Replies

How is that lined background done? I see it often in the niftier layouts. Wanted to add to one of my layouts so I made a copy of Graphite template and took everything out in an attempt to de-construct it to figure it out. Nothing. I checked in all the pulldowns for clues but again came up blank.

Any help appreciated (and I've attached a screenshot of what I'm talking about, just in case. It's how to do all those lines across the background).

How to, background.gif

In layout mode, click on the little tab that says 'body' to select it. Then, go to the color and pattern pallettes to pick a color and pattern. That will set the background of the body. You can do the same for the header, footer and any other layout parts.

For graphite, pick the horizontal line pattern and the light grey color.

Geez, that's what I thought would do it, but I didn't see clues in the db by what has been selected. I guess it doesn't show.

Great, will try this. Thanks!

Ahhhh, that's where it shows up. THANKS, I learned a new trick (told ya's I was a newbie). The styles come up when you click on the header, body or footer tab and they show what's been selected! That is soooo neat!

Cheers! smile.gif
