Im using FileMaker Pro 5.5 While writing the script to use the dot operator to get range of dates in Insert Calculated Result step under

the operator listing there is no dot operator. Please could

Just type "..." -- concatenate it into the string you plan on inserting.

I know this thread is a little old, but it may help somebody...

Yes, you can type "period-period-period", but you can also use the true ellipsis character (like FileMaker does in the Symbols popup menu).

On the Mac, type Option-Semicolon

On the PC, type Alt-0133 (don't quote me on this - I got it from here.
