What algorithm does FMP follow when you enter a two-digit year?

Most programs center a 100-year window at today, give or take a year.

FMP seems to assume >90 is 19xx and <90 is 20xx. Except sometimes it uses just xx.

Anyway, is there any way to specify this?

I would love to allow 2-digit year input... but its useless of 88 is going to go to 2088.

Thanks.

Search the techInfo library, all of this stuff was worked out for the Y2K bug.

I think you're aussumption above is about right, but there is no way to change it afaik.

You really *don't* want 2-digit year imput, it's a major pita. get used to 4-digit years.

I feel sorry for out descendants who'll have to fix the Y10K bug when years become 5 digits!
