hi,

I am using Filemaker 4.0 . How can I run a script when a filemaker file is opened. I want to display something like an alert report when a file is opened (something like an alert report for expiring Passports).

Change the document preferences found under the edit menu > Preferences.

Here you can set a script when the file opens.
