Hi I wonder if anyone can advise me about an import image query I have. I wish to import scanned images into a specific files container via a script but I don't want the user to have to search for the image. I wondered if it were possible to set the scanned file name as a variable such that it can be automatically plugged into the corresponding Filemaker records.

Mac or Windows? If Mac you can use Applescript. If Windows, I think there are a few macro utilities, plugins etc. that may do the job. But, there isn't anything within Filemaker itself that will do it directly.
