smilemaker Posted January 20, 2003 Posted January 20, 2003 I can't seem to get any compressed files to display when they are an inserted object....this seems strange. (They must be inserted in the record.) I need to allow the user to edit the image--therefore, insert object is required. Is this normal? Is there any way to have the inserted object display. Please help. Each record needs to have such an image. So, if the images must be bmp files to work, the database will be very large.
BobWeaver Posted January 20, 2003 Posted January 20, 2003 Filemaker can display jpegs and gifs, both of which are compressed formats.
smilemaker Posted January 20, 2003 Author Posted January 20, 2003 The insert picture function works great. However, I can't seem to get the insert object part to work; the file name is what displays. Any suggestions?
BobWeaver Posted January 20, 2003 Posted January 20, 2003 Oops, sorry, I have no experience with Insert Object. One of the Windows experts will have to answer this one.
