Conditional Formatting a la Excel?

Featured Replies

I need to have a field (text and background) formatted based on the condition in the cell. For example if the value in the cell is greater than "x", the text should turn blue, if the value in the cell is less than "y" the text should turn red.

Any help is much appreciated.

I would recommend visiting John Mark Osborne's website www.databasepros.com, click on the Resources link and do a search for Colored Fields. John has an example file that you can download.

HTH, Mike

If you download my Handy Bits file (RussCalcs From Oz) in the Samples section of this forum - go to the bottom and get the latest file (v2), there are examples of both conditional coloured text and coloured backgrounds.
