With the Troi Activator plug-in there is a function that you can use to perform a script on another computer specified by its i.p.. In this function there is also a place for a parameter that can be used as an identifier, but I can not figure out its purpose or even if it does anything. Does anyone know what this parameter is for and what it does? Thanks.

Yes - this parameter is probably a value that you are referring to which can be passed from one system to the other via UDP - I use Activator extensively, and it is **very** cool.
