Perhaps this is an old /known issue - however allow me to ask....

How do I export my data WITH their field names?

Must a receiving application always be prepared first with field names?

I am looking for how to accomplish the reverse of importing where FM allows the use of column heads as field names.

Two options come to mind. The first is to export in a format that includes the field names, such as dbf or dif. The second is to have a single record that instead of being used for data is filled with the field names.
