I have located the "Send Mail" script step. As i began to look through the information in the Specify... box, that's when my question appeared to me. Yeah, kind of like that.

Anyway... If i install a button function to email a "proposal" layout; single record, will it bring up a dialog box to specify the Sender? (not the recipient) The company has about 8 people using the same file. Is a dialog box part of the script or should i specify a different script per user?

If you keep the perform without dialog box unchecked, then the send mail step will simply pull up the email program installed on the computer with whatever fields you have specified already filled out. If that email program allows the sender to be specified, then you should be good to go.
