Hi, all.

Two questions from a newbie. I'm trying to set up a default password with limited access. The problem is, when I select "Limited..." from the Edit checkbox in the Privileges dialog box, I get taken to the calculation window. I'm not sure what I need to make the calculation read. Basically, what I'm trying to do is make the entire file read-only except for one field, a "Notes" field.

Also, is it possible to create a button that prompts you to ask for a higher level password and can change the access privileges?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In response to the first question:

Create the password and then click access. From there, you choose which fields can be edited and accessed. The Edit checkbox that you're referring to limits the records that can be edited, not the fields.

Second question:

You cannot do that using built-in login system. Of course, if you develop your own...
