Newbies RTH Posted November 9, 2001 Newbies Posted November 9, 2001 Hi. Can you out there suggest a way to export found records to excel, make excel chart the data and import the chart to filemaker? Or is a better way to do this? Thanks, Reynir.
Olive Posted November 22, 2001 Posted November 22, 2001 Hi, If your charts are rather simple, you could make them directly in FileMaker without using Excel. To do so, you need a plug-in like Oazium Charts (there are one or two other similar plug-ins but I can't remember their names). You can download it from the FM site. Good luck O
Steven H. Blackwell Posted November 22, 2001 Posted November 22, 2001 Depending on your OS, this can be done by AppleScript or by VB. VB coding is rather complex. Your could export the data from FileMaker Pro, then trigger an Excel macro to pick it up and create the chart. A copy and paste will get the chart back into FileMaker Pro. HTH Old Advance Man
