FM to Excel and import charts

Hi,

If your charts are rather simple, you could make them directly in FileMaker without using Excel. To do so, you need a plug-in like Oazium Charts (there are one or two other similar plug-ins but I can't remember their names).You can download it from the FM site.

Depending on your OS, this can be done by AppleScript or by VB. VB coding is rather complex.

Your could export the data from FileMaker Pro, then trigger an Excel macro to pick it up and create the chart. A copy and paste will get the chart back into FileMaker Pro.
