In this first article in a series of 17, we will explain the ins and outs of one of the most overlooked and underrated activities that should form part of your FileMaker development - gathering information from the users of the system.

The reason this is usually overlooked is that most FileMaker developers are too busy. You have a rough idea of what is needed and so you simply sit down and plough ahead only to find out days or even months later that you missed out vital integral components to the success of your system. There are also tools to help you achieve this.
