We are using FileMaker Server 3.0 on an IMac. I want to upgrade to version 5.5 but switching also to Redhat Linux. In the documentation this issue is not mentioned. Does anyone has any experience ?

what issue?

the only caveat is that you have to convert all of your databases to Filemaker 5 format (and thus are required to upgrade all your clients to 5 or later).
