Peter Fenner Posted April 25, 2003 Posted April 25, 2003 On a Mac I do not like the window that encases ones layouts. So I prefer Kiosk mode. Ofcourse this takes away the menu bar and keyboard shortcuts. Is there any way to not use Kiosk mode but still to get rid of the unused window edges? Any other alternatives? Peter
cjaeger Posted April 25, 2003 Posted April 25, 2003 use a single file interface in a window that expands to full screen at start. Of course, you should provide multiple layouts for common screen resolutions...
Peter Fenner Posted April 25, 2003 Author Posted April 25, 2003 I still can't push the edges of the standard FM window off the edges of my screen. I do not want to see any of the edges of the window. No scroll bars. No" browse, preview, find, layout" pop up. Etc. None of it. How can I do it? Peter
cjaeger Posted April 25, 2003 Posted April 25, 2003 use a plugin. protolight has a free plugin that works in Win and OS 9 only. there are other commercial ones (try http://www.filemaker.com/plugins or http://www.fmplugins.com ), but none so far for OS X.
Peter Fenner Posted April 25, 2003 Author Posted April 25, 2003 Thanks Christian - I will follow up your suggestion Pete
