I have 2db's, one is customer and the other is contact, I have the standard customer info in my db, but also have fields first oncall -sixth oncall field.

I need to be able to place different contacts in the oncall fields, currently it is putting the contact i pick in on six oncall fields, i need to keep contacts for the customer file i am in, i use customer id and contact id in my relationship.

If someone could please tell me how to make my value list contacts work the way i would like it to i would be in the debt.

Create a customer id in your contacts database. Now create a relationship from your customer database to the contacts database. Allow creation of records.

customer id (customer file) will relate to customer id (contacts file)

Now place a portal on your customers layout with the various related contact fields on the portal. Now you can add/view contacts thru the portal. You also can add as many as you wish if you show vertical scroll bar.
