This might be a "give-your-head-a-shake" type question (my brain isn't fully functional today) but did FM remove the option to export to Excel in version 5.5?

I seem to remember being able to do it in 5.0 (but I'm not positive since I did not use it that much) and there are also other questions about Excel in the forum so I think it's a safe assumption that FM at least used to be able to export to Excel.

So am I going braindead/crazy/ignorant/all of the above, or does this option not exist anymore?

when ever i want to export to excel i export using the "tab separated text file (*.tab)" option. And then open that file in Excel.

I'm using that as a last option right now. I'm trying to make the database as fully automated as possible because there is the possibility that the people using it will be computer illiterate.

I have Filemaker 5.0 loaded and it does not have export to Excel. It does have the usual .dbf, tab delimited, etc.

It's IMPORT FROM Excel, not EXPORT TO Excel. Export as tab delimited.
