Counting Years with 2 fields

Featured Replies

I have an employee file. i have a DATE OF HIRE field and a CURRENT YEAR field. I want the Current Year field to show what year of employment the employee is in. so, if it's between the Date of hire and a year from the date of hire , then it should say 1 in the Current Year box. Once today's date = the date of hire + 1 year, then the Current Year field should change to say 2., and keep counting every year thereafter. How do I do this? Thanks smile.gif

This is essentially an "age" type calculation, except that birthdate will be the date of hire. There are some examples of this in my file under the HandyBits post in the Samples section of this forum. Go towards the end of the post to get the latest version.
