There are a couple of things that spring to mind.

The first and most obvious question is whether it is possible that your Comm2 field is formatted with the 'Do not print the selected objects' setting in the dialog for the Format>Sliding/Printing... options (accessible from the Format menu in layout mode).

However another quite different angle to consider is that when you enter preview mode, the record which is displayed, by default, is the first record of the current found set, rather than the current record. If you want to view the current record (assuming it isn't the first), you will have to scroll through the preview pages to locate it.

If neither of these suggestions sheds any light on your problem, then there are a few more obscure things to consider, such as a printer driver problem, a corrupt font or even a corrupt layout. But best to check the more obvious issues first...
