Anh_Tran Posted May 6, 2003 Posted May 6, 2003 Hi All, I would like to know if there is a way to make an executable file in Filemaker. Let's say i make an executable file in filemaker when I click it it runs as the way i want and I don't need to install Filemaker software. It is like in Access we can do it. IS there a way or example to make an executable file in Filemaker? Thanks Anh Tran
CobaltSky Posted May 6, 2003 Posted May 6, 2003 There is, but to do it you will require the Developer edition of FileMaker, which costs a little more than the standard desktop edition, but has this and a few other additional features. Once an .exe is created it runs and looks the same as a FileMaker solution, but does not have multi-user capabilities and does not require the user to have FMP installed in order to run it.
